Solution method:
n = 5 + 1/5 * 1/5 * 1/2 * 1500
n = 5 + 1/50 * 1500 = 5 + 30 = 35
n = 35

Okay first lets find the number which is one-fifth of one-fifth of one-half of 1500
Multiply 1500 * 0.5 * 0.2 * 0.2 = 30
Notice how i converted the fractions to decimal notation.
Now add 30 + 5 = 35
Final Answer: 35
(1/2)(1/5)(1/5)(1050)+5=(1/50)(1050)+5=(1050/50)+5=21+5=26
6865
5365 + 1500 = 6865
270 is less than 1500, because 1500-270 > 0.
A km is 1000 meters, so 1500 meters is 1.5 km. 1500 meters is of greater distance.
(1/2)(1/5)(1/5)(1050)+5=(1/50)(1050)+5=(1050/50)+5=21+5=26
6865

Suppose the first number is x. Then the second number is x+1. A fourth of the first number is x/4 A fifth of the second number is (x+1)/5 So the equation is x/4 = (x+1)/5 + 1 Multiplying though by 20: 5x = 4x + 4 + 20 = 4x + 24 Subtracting 4x from both sides: x = 24
5365 + 1500 = 6865
1.5 + 0.5 + 1 = 3 You seem to be unaware of the fact that you could have obtained the answer much more easily and quickly by using the calculator that comes as part of your computer.
