It looks like you have two points (2,5) and (4,6). The slope is calculated by (change in y) / (change in x). To calculate that subtract the first point's coordinates from the second: Change in y = 6-5 = 1. Change in x = 4-2 = 2. So the slope is (6-5) / (4-2) = 1/2
