There is no such thing. There are different units, depending on what exactly (what physical quantity) you want to measure.
Photometers use a wide variety of units.
reflectometer
Yes, it is possible.
A colorimeter is a scientific instrument that measures the intensity of light passing through a pure sample. In biology, colorimeters are used to monitor the growth of cultures. As the culture grows, the growing medium becomes more cloudy and absorbs more light.
If you are referring to a the rate of water uptake in plants, then a live plant stem is placed in one end of the uptake photometer which is filled with water by a reservoir and tap. at the other end of the photometer there is a scale with an air bubble. Over time, as the plant takes in water, the air bubble will move along the scale and this can be used to work out how much water the plant is using. dont know if this will be of any help :)
spectrophotometer
unit of photometer
Photometer is an equipment commonly used on a clinical laboratory. It has different kinds which can do certain jobs like testing blood samples. The examples of photometer used in a clinical laboratory are the flame photometer and Hemoglobin Photometer.
what are the principles behind LF Photometer
The flame photometer
it just is chameleons!
Yes. A photometer is an instrument that measures the intensity of the incoming light and quantifies it into numerical data. A photometer is a light sensitive device and measure the power of light.
Photometer
Robert Bunsen
reflectometer
It is an instrument for measuring the intensity of light.
By giving it "eyeglasses" just like your optometrist does to fix your vision. Initially by replacing the "High Speed Photometer" unit with the "Corrective Optics Space Telescope Axial Replacement" unit. Later instruments had their own "eyeglasses", making the "Corrective Optics Space Telescope Axial Replacement" unit unnecessary and it was replaced with the new "Cosmic Origins Spectrograph" unit.
