OXFORD ARMS was a trade name used by the Belknap Hardware Co in Louisville KY in the early 20th century. The gun would have been made by either Crescent Firearms (up til 1930) or Stevens (through WW2).
Value will be up to $250 or so.
Thanks, I enjoy learning more history on firearms. I'll place it on the mantle and remember the hunting trips I tagged along with granddaddy. It's definitely not the original finish b/c he used it so much that it's due for a third stock! Guess following shoulder surgery it's best left on the mantle. hehe

$150-$250. A little more if it is like-new, a lot less if it is not fully functioning.
Side-by-side
Made for Spear & Co Hardware by either Crescent Fire Arms or Davis-Warner Arms Co.
The value of a Model 5000 Oxford Arms 410 gauge side-by-side shotgun can vary depending on several factors, such as its condition, age, rarity, and market demand. However, general estimates place the value in the range of $200 to $500. Higher-end values apply to well-maintained or collectible models, while lower-end estimates are for firearms that may have some wear or damage. To get a more accurate assessment, I recommend having it appraised by a professional gun dealer or antique firearm expert, or checking online auction sites where similar firearms are sold.
