Well, isn't that a happy little question! If someone was born in 1966, they would typically graduate high school around the year 1984. Just imagine all the wonderful memories and experiences they must have gathered during their high school years. It's like a beautiful painting, filled with different colors and brushstrokes, all coming together to create a lovely masterpiece.
It depends, as you could have been held back. Therefore, there IS no answer, as the amount of grades you skipped forward or were held back on applies too.

Stephen King graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
Most school systems in the US have you enroll in school based on whether you were born before or after their set cutoff date - so someone born in January of 1966 would start school earlier than someone born in December 1966. Having said that, someone born in 1966 would graduate in either 1984 or 1985 depending on where their birthday fell relative to the cutoff date.

David Kilgour was born February 18, 1941 in Winnipeg, and graduated from the University of Manitoba in Economics in 1962 and the University of Toronto Law School in 1966.

If you went to a four-year school right after high school, you would likely be in the Class of 1988.
You would have graduated in 1984 a little before your 18th birthday. See below for a more in-depth answer as to why. Assuming you started school at the typical age of 5 (which would have occurred sometime around mid Aug.- mid Sept. in 1971), as well as assuming your progression followed the typical timeline of advancing 1 grade at the conclusion of each school year (i.e. you did not skip any grades, and you advanced to the next grade each year), starting with kindergarten, followed by grades 1-12, you would have graduated at the end of the 1983-1984 school year. You would have been designated as the "Graduating Class of '84", not long before your 18th birthday (once again, assuming your school year had completed before your birthday in 1984, which it, most likely, would have). Sorry, for the drawn out answer. In the interest of providing complete clarity in my answer, I thought it best to identify the control parameters, especially given the fact that you would have graduated while you were still 17, which is not typically the case. LOL
Cathedral High School, Portland Maine closed I think around 1974. A few years later the grand old school was torn down. It was in bad need of repairs when I graduated in 1966. I have very happy memories of the school and hold it dearly in my heart.
