Well I read that this rifle is the same as the Marlin Model 81, My 81e, which has a peep site is valued at $135 in the 23td edition of the Gun traders guide. The Sears model may be a little more or less, probably depends on condition.

We have a Ranger bolt action rifle with a model # 103-8. We do not know the age of our gun however.
