Live musical entertainment is usually provided on most liners in the evening, at set times, in the concert hall or a large bar (and sometimes outside on the sundeck in warm climates)- you will need to check with your booking agent or the shipping line for a concert or gig programme though, so's you can select in advance what artists or bands you best would like to see. Also, the majority of modern liners in the Western or developed world nowadays have satellite TV and internet facilities, if not in your private cabin then in nearby lobbies or lounges. From these, you should be able to access satellite TV music channels, music-based internet podcasts, or MP3 downloads. Big cruise ships also usually have a library, that may have a music section from which you can borrow CDs or even old-style cassettes- though again, it's best to check beforehand whether such facilities exist before you travel.
