Because, in that temperature range, microbes and bacteria are all-but killed off.

WRONG; Bacteria are not killed off, they are merely inert. This is why food taken out of the fridge (particularly defrosted) should be eaten very promptly. All those inert bacteria begin to multiple like crazy as soon as the product reaches room temperature.

What volume is approached for a gas at 0 degrees Celsius cooled by 273 Celsius degrees?

-273 degrees Celsius is nearly 0 Kelvin or absolute zero. While it is believed that it is impossible to achieve a temperature of absolute zero, all gases will solidify before that happens. A pure gas should form perfect crystals.

What formula should you use to convert a celsius temperature reading to a Fahrenheit temperature reading?

Apply the Fahrenheit to Celsius conversion in revers: Multiply Celsius temperature with 9 and divide it by five. Then, add 32 = Fahrenheit temperature.

What is 260 degrees Celsius in degrees Fahrenheit?

Start by taking the number in Celsius and multiply it by 9. Then divide that number by 5, and then add 32. This is how you convert Celsius to Fahrenheit or use the equation F = (9/5)C + 32In this case, the answer is about 500 degrees Fahrenheit.

What should you wear if temperature is 9 degrees celsius?

small little coat or jacket and jumper, it's not that cold.

What is Fahrenheit temperature at 7 degrees celsius?

Let C be the temperature reading in degrees Celsius and F be the temperature reading in degrees Fahrenheit. Formula: C = (F - 32) * 5 / 9, or its equivalent, F = (C * 9 / 5) + 32. Use the second expression for the problem. F = ( 7 * 9 / 5) + 32 = 44.6. An aside: To check your formula, in case it is not given, plug in C = 0 and you should get F = 32. Plug in C = -40 and you should get F = -40 too! This second fact is a popular math problem. ==========================
