Gum chewing should be allowed in school why?

• Gum is a stress reliever for many people. Chewing gum vigorously is a way how students learn to calm down and relax, and is their stress reliever that isn't a gel ball.
• Gum helps many students focus, believe it or not. Since a lot of students are multi-taskers, chewing gum helps students focus on what they are doing since they are already half occupied with chewing gum.
• It just tastes good. Gum has many flavors to it, and when will a student enjoy it other than at school where they spend more than a third of their day?
• Just because you can.
