It could in my school.. :] Because if people let them gum would be everywhere in the school. On the walls, ceiling, playground, desks, and on the floor. You're welcome!!! :)
There is no specific data on the exact number of schools in the US that allow sixth graders to chew gum. School policies on gum chewing vary widely depending on the school or district. Some schools may allow it while others may not.
Well, to put it in a simple answer, most teachers do not like gum on the floors, desks, etc. Gum is gross to touch accidentally underneath a desk (Which I'm sure everyone has had that awful feeling at some point), and if gum is stuck on the floor, it can be a very painful experience to try and get it off. But, I have read in some places that chewing gum helps you remember, helps in math, even helps your heart.
Gum chewing can cause damage to school property if students do not dispose of the gum properly, leading to maintenance costs to clean or repair surfaces. Additionally, gum chewing can be disruptive in the classroom or on school grounds if students are not following guidelines on when and where it is allowed.
because u are going to be playing with it the whole time. plus it can distract others around you. Can cause messes/problems. Also do you really want to be bothered with people asking for gum the whole day? I know i dont...
Some studies show that chewing gum increases concentration And its not like it has anything to do with how the teachers teach????? i mean why ISN'T gum a good idea at school???? answer that!! Ok, yep, gum not only improves concentration, but memory, both long term and short term. Also, if the gum is mint flavored, since mint awakens the mind, the gum has the same results. And even at schools that don`t allow gum, kids still chew it, so why not just let them have at it? The only down side? Gum in the hair, but I think we all know how to take care of that. (If not, then seriously reconsider your dream carrier.) Gum can make you smarter because when you chew gum it pumps blood into your brain.
no school allow gum
the gum contains sodium bisulfite which the water cant dissolve
Gum is not allowed in schools because, kids put it under the desks/ chairs, in people hair and on the floor. Although some studies say that it helps with concentration. It is just a mess to clean up.
Most schools do not allow students to chew gum. This because it can be very distracting when bubbles are blown and the gum is cracked. Students also tend to discard gum by sticking it under desks or spitting it out on floors and sidewalks.
the same reason humans cant eat gum
i cant awnser
I'm not totally sure, it depends on where you're from(as in country). There are 675642 schools in England that allow students to chew gum.
not many
Lots of schools have a no gum policy but I think gum in school would be a great idea because it would help them get better grades.
