Yeah, they can. But trust me, it will be MASSIVE. I have 70 acres and a very big mansion. And it only takes up about 1/5 acre! Trust me though, you wouldn't want a mansion that big! Hope this helped!

It depends on the zoning and other legal regulations for home-building in the area. Some communities (in the US) will allow only one per acre, while others may allow as many as ten or even more (such as in mobile home parks).

It looks like it ought to be practical:

-- 1 acre = 43,560 square feet

-- 1/2 acre = 21,780 square feet

-- If you split that up into 4 equal pieces, each one gets 5,445 square feet.

-- If each plot is square, then they're about 74' x 74' each ... not enough for

any serious farming or ranching, and a private airstrip would be a problem, but

comfortable for a modest house, even with a few blades of grass around it so

that you're not forced to totally relinquish the pleasant habit of mowing once

in a while.

I don't really know. But I have 15 questions to ask but it will take a long time to send and fill it out because it's summer homework! I go back the 8th of September.
