The chances of you being the first one selected and then your friend the second are:
(1/80)x(1/79)= 1/6320 (once your are selected there are only 79 students left - your friend among the 79)
Likewise the chance of your friend being selected first and you second are also 1/6320
Since it doesn't matter which one of you gets chosen first the probability is the sum of those two probabilities, i.e. 2/6320 = 1/3160
