There can be a maximum of 15 intersections. With two non-parallel lines, there will be one intersection, a third (non-parallel) line can be drawn to cut the other two, and that makes 2 more intersections for a total of 3. You can actually draw this out, and with a fourth, fifth and sixth line, you will create a maximum of 3, 4 and 5 more intersections (respectively), and this will bring your total to fifteentotal intersections for the six lines. You can get each successive line to cut all of the other existing lines if you draw them in a prejudicial (maximized) way.
You could draw in the two diagonals (from corner to opposite corner). You could draw two perpendicular lines to develop four squares inside the existing square. You could draw three parallel lines to develop four equally-sized rectangles within the square.
one in every 3 lines is 1/3 of the 3 lines
Monocot leaves have their leaf veins arranged parallel to each other and the long axis of the leaf (parallel vennation).
An octagon had four pairs of parallel lines.
You mean lines or sides? But,octagon has parallel lines. Um, four parallel lines.
A regular octagon has four pairs of parallel lines.
An octagon need not have any parallel sides. But it can have any number from 2 to 8 lines that are parallel - in pairs, triplets or quartets.
yes it does it has four
4
it has 4.
A regular octagon has 4 pairs but it need not have any.
An octagon had four pairs of parallel lines.
A regular octagon has 4 sets of parallel sides.

A regular octagon.
