Mean is the sum of all the numbers added and divied by the amount of nunbers. for ex. if 1,7,9,9,4 were your numbers then you would add them all together witch is 30 . then you would divied it by 5 because that is the amount of numbers you started with. so the anser would be 6 and that is the average between 1 and 9

mode is like a trend in this nunber 1,7,9,9 and 4 is your starting number. and there are two 9s so the mode would be nine and if the number is 1,7,9,9,9,4 then the the mode would stay because even thouth there are three nines it still stays the same.and if the number was 1,7,7,9,9,4 then the mode would be 7 and 9 because there are two sevens and two nines.
