Well in a full 9 Inning Game each time makes 27 outs. (3 outs for 9 innings). Thus combined the teams make 54 outs. So if every player swung and hit very first pitch and every pitch was an out that would be 54 pitches combined with both teams pitchers. However that would end in a 0-0 tie so it would go into extra innings so it wouldn't be a complete game. Thus if you say ONE player hit a first pitch and hit a home run on a first pitch to give his team a 1-0 lead and thus a complete nine inning game then it would be 55 pitches.
However that would mean that both pitchers would have to be PERFECT and COMPLETELY ACCURATE. and the Hitters would have to swing and HIT every FIRST pitch so its almost completely impossible.
MLB consists of 9 innings, more if needed to determine a winner, less if non post season game and inclement weather delays the game.
He had impressive scoreless streak of 26 innings during his first season with the New York Mets in 2006. But no Mets pitcher has ever pitched a no hitter, much less a perfect game.
The number of innings in a baseball game depends on the level of competition. In Major League Baseball a complete game is normally nine (9) innings. Games that are called due to weather or games that are forfieted can be less than nine (9) innings. Games that go into extra innings can be played until the last out is made or until the winning run is scored.
softball has 7 innings in less a tie then they play more innings if one team is winning by a lot they have the mercy rule and they call the game
It all depends on the score. In most softball leagues, if there is a significant difference in the score (10 run rule) the game will be called complete in less than the standard 7 innings. Otherwise a 7 inning game takes 7 innings to complete.
Yes
A lower one because whip is walks + hits / innings pitched. so the less the walks and hits the lower the whip.
Assuming it's an MLB game that's shortened to 6 innings, the winner would have to be the second pitcher because, by default, the starter cannot be credited with a win unless he pitches at least 5 innings.
for a perfect game, zero. the less wind, the better
A David Wells single signed baseball is worth between $50.-$75. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. A perfect game inscription will add value. If the baseball was used during David Wells perfect game it could have a lower value based on condition. A clean white baseball would be most preferred for the signature. Without being able to prove that the baseball was from the perfect game it will not have added value. The added value will rely on the buyers belief in your story. You would need strong provenance to accompany the baseball. A letter from a player, team, or league official would be needed. A letter from a fan at the game will not hold much weight if any. In a recent auction a David Wells single signed baseball sold for $83.65
