"the d area" is actually an arch to represent that if you shoot behind it you score 3 pts. if you shoot inside the arch you score 2 pts. outside of it you score 3 pts.
To score points by shooting the ball into your opponent's basket while bouncing it whenever you move.

The only way you can get three points is to score a 3-pointer, by shooting and getting a basket from behind the 3-point line.
Two.
you get 3 points in one basket when you shoot the ball outside the big semi-circle in the court. Three points can happen not only by this mechanism. when you are shooting the ball and you get fouled, if the ball goes in, you will get a call "foul in" that means your basket counts. and you will get 1 attempt at the free throw line for 1 point.
A Basket :) Beyond the three point Arch= 3 Points Inside the three point Arch= 2 Points Free Throws= How many you shoot, and how many you make
To get two points you could shoot a basket because one basket equals two points. Or two free throws.
Each basket is worth 1 point at the foul line, 2 points inside of the 3-point line, and 3 points outside of the 3-point line.
Yes the other team gets the points if you score in the wrong basket.
You would receive 2 points for your team.
Im assuming you mean from half court which would get your team 3 points
To score a goal (a "basket") in the game of basketball, the basketball must pass through the hoop of the opponent's goal. When a person is attempting to throw the ball so it will pass through the hoop and score a goal or basket, it is called taking a shot or shooting the basketball. This may seem strange because "shooting" is usually an action word associated with firearms, but the terminology is the same.
