∙ 14y agoFirst of all, if a batter gets 56 hits out of 100 at bats he is batting .560! Rock on!!
This means 11/25 or 44% of the time, he did not get a hit.
(Remember that in realistic situation, figuring this would be much more complex. Some events while batting, such as a walk or a sacrifice, do not count as an at bat, where an error actually counts as an at bat without a hit.
If a player came to the plate 5 times in a game and went: 1B, Error at 3rd reaching safely, Sacrifice Fly, Walk, Strike out; that player would would not be 2 for 5, but actually 1 for 3)
Great answer...RAW.

∙ 14y agoMultiply the fraction by 100 and you will have the percentage e.g 0.25 times 100 = 25 which is 25%
401 or .401
To turn a fraction into a percentage multiply it by 100 as for example 3/4 times 100 = 75%
You will then get a decimal, and then if you multiply the decimal 100 times you will get you the percentage of the fraction you started with.
times the percentage by 100, then simplify. Example: 0.4% = 0.4/100 = 4/1000 = 1/250
write that number as a fraction, then multiply it by the percentage over 100, eg10x50%==10/1x50/100=500/100=5by Subs
you times it by 5 and take away 6 JOKING i dont know
95% times both sides of the fraction to get 95/100. change that in to 95%
The nicest baseball player is Kevin Youkillis. Ive met him various times and he is a great romodel.
its fraction and its quite simple. think of it like this a fraction is something over 100 and so is a percentage. 3/4 is 75% if u had 3 over 6 divide a hundred by 6 then times it by three same with if its over 10 or 20 u may just get a decimal just times the decimal.
