Before a web admin collect data from his website visitors, he must fully disclosed why he is collecting data in the first place. Data collected can be very diverse depending on the nature of the website or the business the website is engage in, the following information maybe ask of the site's visitors: name, age, birthday, email address, billing address, credit card number (for legitimate business websites), preferences and interest (mostly for forums and blogs).
