Data saturation is the situation in which the data has been heard before. For example, a reseacher might interview 23 people that all had the same experience (same disease, same job, same lifestyle, etc.), if the researcher only interviews a few people, their personal nuances and characteristics will color the findings. On the other hand, there is no need to continue interviewing people once the researcher finds that further interviews are not adding to the findings or repeating what was already found in the previous interviews.

∙ 12y agoThe saturation level of ammonia in water depends on temperature and pH. At 20°C and pH 7, the saturation level of ammonia in water is around 37 ppm. At higher temperatures or pH levels, the saturation level can increase.
R.A. Fisher is often credited with developing the concept of saturation in statistical models as he introduced the idea of the saturated model in his work on analysis of variance. The concept of saturation refers to a model that has as many parameters as there are observations, allowing the model to perfectly fit the data but often resulting in overfitting.
Saturation stage is a point in a product's lifecycle where market demand is reached, leading to slower growth rates. Decline stage is when sales and profit decrease as the product's appeal diminishes due to market saturation, changing consumer preferences, or technological advancements. Both stages require strategic decisions to maximize profits, such as product diversification or cost optimization.
The intensity or depth of a color is referred to as its saturation. Saturation describes how pure the color appears, with high saturation representing a vivid, intense color and low saturation indicating a more muted or washed-out appearance.
The saturation point can be determined using the density by measuring the density of the sample at different levels of saturation. The point at which the density no longer changes with increasing saturation is the saturation point. This is because at full saturation, the pores of the material are completely filled with the saturating fluid, leading to a maximum density.
