A size 3 ball requires a size 3 hoop. A size 3 hoop is a 14" diameter hoop. (Usually with a 32" backboard.)
The recommended psi of a size 3 soccer ball is 8-10 lbs. I am not sure of the weight.
The standard size of the ball
A 3 centimeter ball would have a diameter of 3 centimeters, which is roughly the size of a golf ball.
3 inches in diameter. Can vary on size and league, most bought at stores 3 inches.
1520.531 square cm rounded to 3 d.p.
Size 4 is much easier to catch because it is larger and easier to cradle. Size 3 soccer balls are very small and less predictable when toe poked.
The heaviest will help you be use to playing soccer but for comfort I would recommend size 4 or 3
Surface area = 4*pi*112 = 1520.531 cm2 rounded to 3 d.p.
If you are talking regulation sizes... In the NBA, Basketballs are required to be nine inches in diameter, this is a circumference of about 28 inches. In Football (Soccer) there are three sizes of which can be used, numbered 3,4, and 5. Size 3 balls are used for children under the age of 8. These balls are generally 23-24 inches in circumference making them smaller then a NBA Basketball. Size 4 balls are used between the ages of 8-12. They have a circumference of 25-26 inches making them also smaller then a NBA Basketball. Size 5 is the standard international match ball for all ages. The size 5 ball has a circumference of 27-28 inches making it the same size as a NBA Basketball.
The official size for a soccer ball is Size 5, which is the standard size used in professional matches and for players aged 12 and above. However, smaller sizes like Size 4 and Size 3 are used for younger age groups.
The size of a soccer ball does not depend on whether the game is played indoors or outdoors. In fact, it depends on how old the players are. If the player is approx. 4-8 years old they use a size 3, if they are approx. 8-12 years old they use a size 4, and if the player is 12+ they use a size 5, an adult size ball.
