Definitely, without a doubt. I've lived in California and New York. And I have to say, I definitely prefer California. Living in New York is too stressful, and the people there are more rude and mean. You get way better service in California.

On many levels yes. It has a higher economy, higher population, better standard of living, higher income, etc. But no state is really better than any other, each have their own unique qualities and ups and downs.

It Dependes. If you like California more than Pennsylvania. Then California is better than Pennsylvania. But, If you like Pennsylvania, than Pennsylvania is better. My friend says California was a pretty amazing place, but my parents think Pennsylvania. So for this answer, I would say 50-50.
