Norðurturninn (The north tower), is an office and retail building in Iceland, which is currently under construction. The building is located in downtown Kópavogur next to Smáratorg tower. The building is connected to the shopping mall Smáralind and is also a part of it. Norðurturninn is said to be 15 floors or 62 metres (205 ft) when construction will be completed,[1]but is proposed to be 110 metres high with 28 floors, which will surpass the current tallest building, Smáratorg tower. Construction of the tower has been stopped since the 2008-2011 Icelandic financial crisis, and uncertainty is when/if the tower will be completed.

Smáratorg 3 (Icelandic pronunciation: [ˈsmauːraˌtʰɔrk]) is an office and retail building in Iceland. It is the tallest building in Iceland, surpassing the Hallgrímskirkja in height, and is the fifth tallest architectural structure in the country after the Eiðar longwave transmitter, the masts of Naval Radio Transmitter Facility Grindavik and longwave radio mast Hellissandur.

The building is located in Smárahverfi, Kópavogur, where the shopping mall Smáralind is also located. The building has 20 floors and is 77.6 metres (256 ft)[1] high. The tower was designed by Arkís architects.

The global accounting and consulting firm Deloitte is located in the tower.

The building was opened on February 11, 2008.
