Pythagoras theorem
Pythagoras education was mathematics and was taught by other people
No. For that matter, he didn't really have a last name. His name was Pythagoras. If anyone wanted to make sure that he didn't get confused with some other Pythagoras, they'd say something like "Pythagoras of Samos" (except, of course, that they'd say it in Greek: Î?υθαγόρας ὁ Σάμιος).The reason we have last names, middle names, etc. now is to avoid any confusion of this sort. Pointing up the need is the fact that there actually was another (semi-) famous Pythagoras living in Samos who was a sculptor and, to make matters worse, according to Pliny the Elder (see, there's another one we need to add a distinctive to; the modern system is looking smarter and smarter) he apparently looked a lot like the philospher/mathematician.
Because Pythagoras lived more than 2000 years ago, the names of his children if any, are lost to history.
Actually Pythagoras had 4 children. He had 3 daughters, and 1 son. His daughters names were Damo, myia, and Arignote. His sons name was Telouges. He made these children with Theno his spouse. He did not make these children with pythasis that was his mom.
Pythagoras, the ancient Greek mathematician and philosopher, is not known to have had any children. He founded a philosophical and religious school in Croton, Italy, where he taught his followers about mathematics, music, and ethics. Pythagoras believed in the concept of metempsychosis, or the transmigration of the soul, and emphasized the importance of moral purity and intellectual pursuits.
