math and conic sections
no idea..... ummm for math
No, but he was a wizard at math.
maybe for calculating math because blaise pascal was a tax collector?...just maybe
Because he went to his fathers meetings with him. He never went to school, because his father taught him and his father was a court judge. He was interested in science also which made blaise pascal interested in math and science.
Why is anybody a mathematician? Probably because they are good at math and can't keep themselves from thinking about mathematical problems which occur to them or others mentions to them. Pascal also had other interests, particularly physics, religion and philosophy- he was not exclusively a mathematician.
Oh honey, Blaise Pascal may have been a math wizard, but he wasn't exactly racking up awards left and right. The guy was too busy coming up with the Pascaline calculator and dabbling in philosophy to worry about trophies. So, to answer your question, Pascal didn't really win any awards to speak of. But hey, at least he's got a programming language named after him, so that's something, right?
MATH
here's one: -he invented the calculator
because it is part of geometry
Lots of practice is one answer. When Pascal was asked 'how to become an expert mathematician', his answer was 'find an insoluble problem and attempt a solution.' Another solution would be to attempt to answer for yourself, some of the math questions in wikianswers.
One kilo equals to 1,000. This is taught in math.
