Though it is best that you look at a picture than have someone describe them to you, basically a llama looks like a miniature, shorter-legged, fluffier giraffe (almost like a giraffe crossed with a sheep) without the horns at the top of the head and the obvious spotting pattern. Their hooves are not like a giraffe either: rather, they are more like a camel's, with the look like they're setting back on their feet (not entirely on their hoof like with horses and cattle). They have long, prominant ears that stick up above their head (not to the side like a giraffe or sheep's), long snouts and a highly dextrous pair of lips: the lips are just like that of a sheep or goat. Llamas do not have horns, but are large in body and narrow in the neck. Their dense hair coat makes their body look especially big, and their tail longer than it is when they are shaved for their wool.
For an example picture of a llama, please see the related link below.
Llamas can see color. Some llamas do not like specific colors.
According to my friend who absolutely adores llamas.......yes. haha :)
llamas eat hay and grass. They also like grains and alfalfa. Alfalfa would have to be the most loved by Llamas.
Female alpacas and llamas are called "Hembra" and male alpacas or llamas are called "Macho". Alpacas and llamas look similar in the face but are different in size and fur.
Llamas are juist one of those things where your just like "Wow. That is freaking awesome."
