I've never seen a 20 meter pool. just 25's and 50's. But, in a 20 it would be 250, in a 25 it is 200, and in a 50 it is 100.
depends on the pool 25m pool 4 laps 50m 2 laps
52 laps in a 25-meter per lap pool.
well it depends what size pool. if its a 50 or 25 meters which most lap pools are 25 meters so if you do the math it comes out to 18 laps
To determine how many laps are needed to swim 1900 meters in a 25-meter pool, divide 1900 by 25. This calculation shows that 1900 ÷ 25 = 76 laps. Therefore, you would need to swim 76 laps in a 25-meter pool to cover 1900 meters.
To calculate the distance of 24 laps in a 25-meter pool, you multiply the number of laps by the pool's length. Since one lap consists of two lengths of the pool (there and back), the total distance is 24 laps x 50 meters (25 meters each way), which equals 1,200 meters. Therefore, 24 laps in a 25-meter pool equals 1,200 meters.
think about it...
1250 meters :D ~Morgan~
A mile is approximately 1,609 meters. To calculate the number of laps in a 22-meter pool, divide 1,609 by 22, which equals about 73.13. This means you would need to swim approximately 74 laps in a 22-meter pool to complete a mile.
10.56 but it's better to make it 11
It depends on which pool you swim in. If it is a 25m pool then it will take 20 laps to finish but if it is in a 50 meter pool, which is Olympic size, it will be 10 laps to do 500 meters.
It would be about 32.2 laps to make one mile.
The length of an Olympic pool is 50 meters. One lap is 100 meters so 400 meters would equal 4 laps.
