If 3x + 3 = 2x + 6 then 3x - 2x = 6 - 3 x = 3
2x+3=3x-3 2x-3x=-3-3 -x=-6 x=6
3x - 3 = 2x + 6 3x = 2x + 9 x = 9
3x + 4 + 9 - 6 = 3x + 7----If you ment 3x + 4 + 9 = 6=> 3x + 13 = 6{subtract 13 from both sides}=> 3x = -7{divde by 3 on both sides}=> x= -7/3
If you mean: 2x-3 = 3x+3 then x = -6
It is equivalent to: 3x+6+5 = 3x+11
equivalent to 3x -6 = -9; so 3x = -9 + 6; so 3x = -3 so x = -1. Check: -6 + (3 * -1) = -6 + (-3) = -9 QED
4x2+3x+6+5x+3x+6 = 4x2+11x+12 when simplified
-3x+9y = 6 9y = 3x+6 y = 1/3x+2/3
3x + 16 = 22 3x = 6 x = 6/3 x = 2
3(x plus 2) expanded --> 3x+6 Check out wolframalpha.com for more explanation (not advertising)
3x + 2 = 3x + 6 This is not possible.
