Of course. A "rational number" is any number that can be represented

as the ratio of two integers.

-32 is the ratio of -32/1 .

-29.72 is the ratio of -743/25 .

-12.94 is the ratio of -647/50 .

etc.

In fact, we'd go out on a limb here and argue that the negative of any

rational number is also a rational number.
