Yes. He moved to Euboea to escape a death sentence in Athens. Aristotle was born in Macedonia and there was a lot of anti Macedonian sentiments in Athens after Alexander the great died. Even though he escaped a death sentence in Athens, he died shortly after in Euboea due to stomach problems. He was 62.
