To add integers with like signs you jut put the positive in front of the answer (you just add and put a positive sign in front of it)
when you put a negative plus a positive you go with the biggest number when you get the answer and put in the biggest sign next to the number
Add the positive values of the 9 integers and put a minus sign before the answer.
Add the positive values of the 7 integers and put a minus sign before the answer.
The set of all positive integers is a subset of the set of all integers.
Integers are positive and/or negative numbers. Fractions are not integers because they are not originally positive or negative. However, they can both be put on a number line and be considered an integer. Fractions aren't integers unless put on a number line. Integers don't have to be on a number line to be considered an integer.
you subtract and then put the biggest number's sign , for example:2+-3=-1, i subtrct 3-2 and the result is 1 then i put the biggest number sign which the biggest is 3 and it's sign is - so i put - \ so the final result is -1 .
It depends on what numbers. In general, subtract the small number from the big number, and the if the big number was negative, put a negative sign in front. If positive, put a positive sign.10+-6=4-10+6=-4or, disregard the plus and put positive first.10-6=46+-10= 6-10=-4Just put the values together
All formulas begin with the equals sign. It is also possible to start with a plus sign, a minus sign or an @ sign, but an equals sign will be automatically put in front of it.All formulas begin with the equals sign. First, separate the negative and positive integers (put them into two separate groups). If there is a zero, you can put it in its own group - or put it into the same group with the positive integers. Negative integers come first, then zero, then positive integers. For positive integers:An integer with less digits comes before an integer with more digits. For integers with the same number of digits, look at the first digit. The integer with the smaller digit in this position comes first. If the first digit is the same, look at the second digit. If those are equal, look at the third digit, etc.For negative integers, it is the other way round - for example, an integer with MORE digits comes first.
If both integers is negative add them and put a negative sign in front: Sample: -4 + -5= -9 If two negatives subtract bigger with smaller (ignore the signs 4 now). Then whichever has the greater value (positive or negative) add that sign. Sample: -44 + 94 = ? 94 - 44 = 50 94 > 44 So -44 + 94 = 50 Sry if I can't explain it!
a negative minus a negative = a positive. the two negatives put together make a plus sign. example... 5-(-7) = 13
