When doing subtraction why would we have to borrow?

Becaue you can't remove, say, 4 cookies from 3. All this means is that if you have a bigger number and you need to subtract it form a smaller number you will need to borrow.

When no other number can be divided into it except 1

Can a moon be bigger than the planet it orbits?

No. The moon is always the smaller body in such a system. The smaller object will always be the one doing the orbiting.

Is the biggest number 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000?

No, you can add another 0 to the end and get a bigger number. You can keep doing this. That is why there is no biggest number.

How do you find the prime factorization of 88?

Find 2 factors of 88. Now break those factors into smaller factors and keep on doing it until you have a prime number and can't break it. (88: 22 and 4) (22= 11x2 4= 2x2) (11x2x2x2)

Is the average speed larger then equal to or smaller then half its final speed?

It can be any of them. If your final speed is the fastest you have gone then it is smaller, if it is the slowest you have gone then it is bigger and if it is the average of what you have been doing then it is the same.

What is the prime factorization of the composite number 42?

42=2x21 21=3x7 PF=2x3x7 The PF (Prime Factorization) of 42 is 2x3x7.(Sorry, I couldn't do a factor tree, there are always helpful to use when doing prime factorization, but since this is the computer, I could only do it like the following above.)

Why does the reminder have to be smaller than the number doing the dividing?

because if the remainder is larger than that means you can still keep on dividing the number...but once it is smaller it means that you can't divide anymore

Why can't the remainder be bigger than the divisor?

Because if the remainder is bigger than the divisor, the quotient can be increased and that will reduce the remainder. You can keep doing as long as the remainder is larger than the divisor. You stop only when it becomes smaller.

When doing prime factorization if there is a prime number does it come out even?

I'm not sure what you mean by that. Prime numbers don't have prime factorizations because they are already prime.

What fractions equal the same as seven eighths?

87.5 fractions- You cant make 7/8 any smaller but you can make it bigger by doing what ever you do to the top also to the bottom of the fraction so 7/8 turns into 14/16 by doubling 7 and then doing the same to the 8 and getting 16, then so on and so forth. This works on all fractions to make them bigger but in this case, 7/8, can not get any smaller.
