find the area of the base and multiply that by the height. The base is a circle so its area is Pi x radius squared. Not sure what the radius is in your question. If you mean the base has area 4.4 meters squared, and that is what I think you do, then just multiply that by 3.5 ie 4.4x 3.5 and that is volume of the cylinder.
you find it out by ansewring it yourself cause your just being lazy jimmy
The radius is half of the diameter, so just divide the diameter by two, and area is width x height.
Well, isn't that just lovely! To find the volume of a cylinder, we use the formula V = πr^2h. So, with a radius of 3 and a height of 5, we can plug those values in to find the volume. Just remember to square the radius, multiply by the height, and you'll have your answer in no time!
If you have the radius of the circle then just plug it into the equation which ispi x r2This equation is used to find the area of a circleSo if your radius is 5 then all you do is 52 and then multiply by piHope that helps.Jamz159
The area of a circle is Pi(3.1416)*radius2 if you do not have the radius, it is just half of the diameter.
e-z u just takes the radius of a circle and multiple it by 3.14
just use the area formula ex... area of circle= pi(r square) if you know what your area is then plug it in then do PI / by area that will be your diameter to get the radius / your answer by 2
The circle must have a diameter, so maybe your teacher just didn't tell you the diameter. In order to figure out the question, you need to know some information about the circle. Weather it's the radius, circumference, or diameter. So here's how you find area if you only have each of the three: 1. If you just have the radius, then square the radius. This means multiply radius times radius. Or say the radius is 4. Squaring it is 4 times 4. So once you find out the answer for radius squared, multiply radius squared by pi. (Probably use 3.14 for pi) Then there's your area. 2. If you only have the circumference of a circle, then you need to find the radius. In order to do that, you need to find the diameter. To find the diameter of a circle, you take the circumference and divide it by pi. (3.14) then you have your diameter. Since the radius is half the diameter, divide the diameter by 2. Then, once you find the radius, you may look at step 1 and use those steps to find out the area. Since your question is wondering how to find the area without knowing the diameter, then you can multiply the radius by 2 to find out the diameter. Even though you don't need to know the diameter to find the area. You just do (r times r) times pi (3.14)
The area of a circle is pi x r2 So you just have to find the radius of your circle, which is the radius of your golf ball. Then substitute it into the area of a circle formula as above.
You have the base or the height, so just square it. If base (or height) is 5, the area is 52 or 25.
The volume is equal to the area of the base multiplied by the height. So, to find the height, just divide the volume by the area of the base.
