We're not sure what you mean by "outside linear feet" of a circle. Since a circle

doesn't have a lot of measurements, and you've already mentioned the diameter,

we'll assume you're asking about the distance around the outside of the circle.

That's called the "circumference" of the circle.

Circumference = (diameter) times (pi) .

"Pi" is a number that can never be written exactly, so an approximation is

always used.

For 'pi', take 3.1415926535, and just use as many decimal places as you feel like.

Or you can just use 22/7 . That happens to be correct to within less than 0.1% .
