Conversion between the two units of measure is not possible because mph is a measure of speed, and m/s2 is a measure of acceleration, which is change in speed (or velocity).
500 m2 = 775,001.55 inches squared.
500 feet = 152.4 meters.
500 millimeters=0.5 meters
500 Meters = 1640.42 feet To convert meters into feet multiply your amount in meters by 3.28 (or more precisely 3.280839895)
0.5 km = 500 meters
500/(speed of a roadrunner in meters per second) seconds
There is some confusion here. 500 newtons IS a force. You don't "give a force an acceleration". You can accelerate an object (which has a mass), but not a force.
Prefix 'kilo' is used to denote multiplies of meter and uses factor 1000. To convert meters to kilometers, value of meters has to be divided by factor used with prefix 'kilo': 500 meters = 500 / 1000 = 0.5 kilometers
500 x 300 = 1500 square meters
There are 500 centimeters in a stick that is 5 meters long. This can be calculated by multiplying the length in meters by 100 to convert it to centimeters.
Mach 500 means 500 times the speed of sound. The speed of sound in air is somewhere around 350 meters/second. If you multiply that, you get approximately 175,000 meters/second, or 175 kilometers/second. Note that the speed of sound can vary, depending on several conditions.
To convert meters to hectometers, you divide the length in meters by 100. For example, 500 meters is equal to 5 hectometers (500 meters / 100 = 5 hectometers).
