On a 2-D graph, a pair of numbers are used to determine the position of the point on a graph.
Mark the position of the point on the graph according to the coordinates of the point that are given (or calculated).
A pair of numbers are usually (x,y) if u want to determine a point on a graph. Find the value for both x and y and then plot them on a graph

Not by itself. It is only the framework. But as soon as you mark up one point on it it becomes a graph.
If the graph is a function, no line perpendicular to the X-axis can intersect the graph at more than one point.

You can determine one variable from the other at any given point for that motion, and differentiating the graph gives you the speed at any selected point. You can do this without the plot itself but a graph shows the relationship clearly and immediately.
Draw a vertical line if the line hits more than one point on the graph then it is not a function.
You would not use a graph to determine one person's height at a single point in time. You could use a line graph to track the height of a person over time. You could use a histogram to determine the heights of lots of people at one time.
