Best Answer

One way to remember it is: a full circle is 2pi radians, or 360°, so 2pi radians = 360°, and then you multiply degrees by (2pi/360 radians per degree) = pi/180 radians per degree.

How do you find the arc length formed by a central angle x?

The arc length is equal to the angle times the radius. This assumes the angle is expressed in radians; if it isn't, convert it to radians first, or incorporate the conversion (usually from degrees to radians) in to your formula.

What conversion factor can be used to convert the number of blocks to the weight of the blocks in pounds?

Are used to balance scale to find the conversion factor that can be used to convert the number of blocks to the weight of the blocks in pounds

how do you convert 0.035mg to cg using the chemistry dimensional analysis?

Write down the given quantity and unit: 0.035mg Identify the desired unit: cg Find a conversion factor that relates the two units. We know that 1 mg is equal to 10 cg. Therefore, the conversion factor is 10 cg/mg. Set up the conversion factor so that the units of the given quantity cancel out: 0.035mg * 10 cg/mg = ? cg Multiply and simplify to find the desired quantity: 0.035mg * 10 cg/mg = **0.35cg** Therefore, 0.035mg is equal to 0.35cg.

How are the numerator denominator in a conversion factor related?

I had to find this out for chemisty...an d i couldn't find the answer but i did find "a conversion factor is a fraction whose numerator and denominator are the same quantity expressed in different units." This may help but idk. If you have a white chemistry book with a yellow triangle then its on page 25.Hope this helps! ☺

Which conversion factor can be used to find the number of feet in 315 inches?

Using a linear metric system conversion table can help when figuring out how many feet are in 315 inches. Since there are 12 inches in 1 foot, you would have to divide 315 by 12, and you would get 26.25 feet.

Which conversion factor would you use to find the number of pints in 3 quarts?

The measures of angles of a quadrilateral are in the ratio 2 3 6 7 find their measures in degrees and in radians?

The angles are: 40° = 2π/9 radians ≈ 0.698 radians, 60° = π/3 radians ≈ 1.047 radians 120° = 2π/3 radians ≈ 2.094 radians, and 140° = 7π/9 radians ≈ 2.443 radians. There are 2 + 3 + 6 + 7 = 18 parts. The sum of the angles in a quadrilateral are 360° → each part is 360° ÷ 18 = 20° → the angles are: 2 x 20° = 40° 3 x 20° = 60° 6 x 20° = 120° 7 x 20° = 140° A full circle is 2π radians → 360° = 2π radians → 1° = π/180 radians → 40° = 40 x π/180 radians = 2π/9 radians ≈ 0.698 radians → 60° = 60 x π/180 radians = π/3 radians ≈ 1.047 radians → 120° = 120 x π/180 radians = 2π/3 radians ≈ 2.094 radians → 140° = 140 x π/180 radians = 7π/9 radians ≈ 2.443 radians
