∙ 12y agoTo find the area you multiply pi (3.14) by the radius and then multiply your answer by the radius again. For example:
Say the radius is 10cm. You would go 3.14x10x10.
IMPORTANT: 3.14xr2
is different than 3.14xrx2!
Also, if you have the circumference of the circle but need the radius, just divide the circumference by 2.
