Divide the circumference of the earth by (2x3.14) and that's roughly the answer.
circumference is diameter times 3.14 diameter is raidus times 2 1 times 2 equals 2 3.14 times 2 equals 6.28 circimference is6.28
You don't even need the height.The radius is just Circumference/2 pi
circumference is pi times diameter (8.6 +8.6) x 3.1415926=___mm round off answer as needed
If you mean the diameter and radius of a circle given the circumference it is:- diameter = circumference/pi radius = circumference/(2*pi)
Diameter of a circle = circumference/pi
Diameter = circumference divided by pi. (3.14159)
Divide the circumference by pi (3.141592......) to get the diameter.
If you only have a given diameter you have to multiply the diameter by Pi (3.142) or 3.14 and then you get the circumference!
Divide the circumference by 2PI to find the radius. ( C = 2PI*Radius)
Diameter = circumference/pi Radius = circumference/2*pi
When the shape is a circle, then the perimeter is called"circumference".The circumference IS the perimeter of a circle.
