I wouldn't have imagined that you could, because your 16 dimension is smaller than your smallest dimension hoped for. If you cut the 25 length down to 20 and stuck the cut off bit on the other side, it'd still be too long (16+5 cut off = 21)
No. There is no way you can cut one rectangle in half and only get one square. The other half would also have to be a square and this will only happen if the proportions are 1:2 and you cut the long sides. There are infinitely many ways to cut a rectangle in half none of which result in new rectangles. Only if the rectangle has proportions 1:2 can cutting it in half make a square, in fact the result could be two squares, not one.
i really dont know about that one but yeah rectangles RULE !
One name is a square because the word square is a special name for rectangle
No. It will always be regular because if we tried to make it irregular it woul be a rectangle. I don't think that's right.. Because i was doing this math project and if a square is 'irregular' there are different ways it can be irregular.. So for example if the suare has 4 sides and one side is cut off (some of it) its not a rectangle or a square.. So the first thing that would come to your mind is... What shape is this ? (:
A square is a special kind of rectangle ... one that happens to have equal length and width.

a rectangle doesn't have four equal sided measurements, which is the definition of a square. also it can take one or more squares to make a rectangle but u can't make a rectangle into a square.

fold it in half and cut it the corners
Get scissors and sellotape and a ruler then draw 2 squares in a row or a rectangle then a square on the end of each side, then draw 3 rectangles at the side of the first rectangle. Then add tabs and cut out and sellotape together. Done! if you want it open with a lid. leave one square off and make another rectangle slightly bigger
A silvery rectangle is a one that it's side difference is side of a square equal in area: m*n=(m-n)^2 I do call it silvery since when a square is cut from it, remaining portion is golden rectangle.
You take 6 and make a rectangle which is a square and take one of the 5 sticks break it in 2 to make 6 which you can make another square or rectangle easy
rectangle
Yes, they can. To demonstrate this draw a square on a sheet of paper. Draw a line diagonally from one corner to the one opposite. Cut along this line and you will have two triangles. Take them apart; if you put them together again in the right way you will have a square. Put together in different ways you can make an isosceles triangle or an equilateral parallelogram. If you do the same thing beginning with a rectangle, you will be able to reassemble the triangles to form a rectangle, isosceles triangle or a (non-equilateral) parallelogram.

A Square and a Rectangle are both Parallelogram.Square:A square is a parallelogram in which adjacent sides are equal and one of its angles is 90o.Rectangle:A Rectangle is a parallelogram in which one of its angles is 90o.
Simply make a cut from any point on one side to any point on an adjacent side.
