For starters, adding up the receipts of the day to fill out a bank deposit slip. Then the owner must pay their employees, so math is again used to figure out how much they get paid based upon their hourly rate and how many hours they worked. Restaurant owners also have to order food and must calculate how much they need for the next day or week ahead. Math is everywhere in our lives, even for a musician!
