it is helpful to determining a cirlcle
The answer is TRUE.
True.
False...
There must be a typo in this question, "Why does the formula for finding the surface area of arectangular prism is helpful?" What does that even mean?
It is helpful because when you do the problem you know what to do.
its not i dont no why
The object's surface area increases as extra surface which was before part of the inside of the object is exposed. If you found my answer helpful then please click recommend contributor :)
I am not sure that a rectangular prism is in any position to care!
It's not.. It may be, depending why, but there isn't a set formula for it. You just use the fundamental rectangle-area formulae & string them together.
You need calculate the area of only one face and multiply the result by the number of congruent faces.
Breaking rocks into smaller pieces increases their surface area, which accelerates weathering processes like chemical reactions and erosion. This can help release essential nutrients for plants, improve soil quality, and aid in the overall ecosystem balance.
Agreed with anonymous 14 y ago. However, 2pir^(2) + 2pirh can be factor to 2pir(r + h) So S.A.(Cyl) = 2pir(r + h) e.g. a cylinder of radious 2 cm and a height/length of 24 cm Has a surface area of SA(cyl) = 2(3.14)(2(2 + 24) => SA(Cyl) = 3.14(4)(26) SA(Cyl) = 3.14(104) SA(Cyl) = 326.56 cm(2)
