You cannot convert volume (cubic ...) to area (square ...) without dividing by a dimension

∙ 13y agoThe question, as stated, cannot be answered sensibly. A square foot is a measure of area, with dimensions [L2]. A cubic foot is a measure of volume, with dimensions [L3]. The two measure different things and basic dimensional analysis teaches that you cannot convert between measures with different dimensions such as these without additional information.

cubic feet is the volume of a box = side A * side B * side C
16.5 * 16.5 * 16.5 = 4492 cubic ft.

It depends how thin the cubic feet are. If they are 1 foot thick: 21,000 cubic feet. If they are 3 feet thick: 63,000 cubic feet will cover 21,000 square feet.
One bag would cover 250 square feet to a depth of 1/125 = 0.008 feet = 0.96 inches.
72 square feet of course !
Does not compute. Cubic feet is a measure of volume. Square feet is a measure of area.
Cubic feet is a measure of volume while square feet is a measure of area. They do not directly convert.
it will cover 3 cubic feet, or 9 feet, I am not sure how many square feet
They do not directly convert. Cubic feet is a measure of volume while square feet is a measure of area.
1 cubic yard covers 27/depth in feet square feet.
This is not a correct conversion. Cubic feet is a measure of volume while square feet is a measure of area.
567 cubic feet or 21 cubic yards
It depends how thin the cubic feet are. If they are 1 foot thick: 21,000 cubic feet. If they are 3 feet thick: 63,000 cubic feet will cover 21,000 square feet.

Here's the formula: 27 cubic feet = 1 cubic yard. 1 cubic yard will cover 324 square feet at a depth of 1 inch. 2000 square feet divided by 324 square feet = 6.2 yards (rounded). Another approach: 7 cubic yard X 324 square feet = 2268 square feet of coverage at a depth of 1 inch.
1 cubic yard of concrete fills 27/depth in feet square feet.
Square feet and cubic feet are not comparable
800 square feet x 1/12 x 3/4 = 50 cubic feet.
