For 1 foot deep, 400 cu ft. For 3 inches deep, 100 cu ft.
It depends on the depth you wish to cover with. If it's going to be 1 foot deep, there are 27 cu ft in a cu yd so it will cover 27 cu ft at a depth of 1 foot. If you want 6" depth, you have 54 (27 times 2), 3" depth you will have coverage for 108 sq ft. I hope this gives you g good idea of what you are going to need.

A bundle of Shingles will cover roughly 33 square feet. A square of Shingles (3 Bundles) will cover 100 square feet.

17 sq ft * 3 in = 17*3/12 cubic ft = 4.25 cu ft. So 6 cu ft will cover it.
1 [cubic] yard of concrete = 3*3*3 cubic feet = 27 cubic feet. To a depth of 6 inches = 1/2 foot the 27 cu ft would cover 27/(1/2) = 54 sq feet.1 [cubic] yard of concrete = 3*3*3 cubic feet = 27 cubic feet. To a depth of 6 inches = 1/2 foot the 27 cu ft would cover 27/(1/2) = 54 sq feet.1 [cubic] yard of concrete = 3*3*3 cubic feet = 27 cubic feet. 10 bags will give you 6'2/3", seven bags will give you 11 bags will give you 7'1/3". Each bag is 2/3 cu feet.
Volume is 12 x 8 x 3, 288 cu ft. 27 cu ft make one cu yd so 288/27, ie 10 & 2/3 cu yds
Convert the inches to feet and work out the volume of the cuboid with base area 110 sq ft and height of 3 inches: 12 in = 1 ft → volume = 110 sq ft x 3 in = 110 sq ft x 3/12 ft = 27 ½ cu ft (= 27.5 cu ft)
There are 46.67 cubic yards in 1260 cubic feet. You can convert cubic feet to cubic yards by dividing the cubic feet by 27, as there are 27 cubic feet in a cubic yard.
Do the math...1 yd=3 ft. So, 3'x3'x3'=27 cu ft (or 1 cu yd). 27 cu ft x 12 cu yd=324 cu ft!

Two possible answers:1. Cubic feet is a volume measure; square yard is an area measure. The two are incompatible.2. Having said that, if you attach a third dimension to your square yard, the volume in cubic feet would be nine (3 feet in a yard times 3 feet in a yard to get 1 square yard) times the height of your stack, enclosure or whatever.Question is wrong, mixing sq and cu ...cu feet in cu yard = 3 x 3 x 3 = 27sq feet in sq yard = 3 x 3 = 9
