depends. one if it is cut length ways an none if cut width ways
There are many. All polyhedra have ONLY flat faces but many other shapes have flat faces such as a hemisphere or an octant or a cylinder.
A cylinder has 2 opposite parallel flat surfaces.
cylinder has 3 faces,1curved faces,2 flat faces and 2 curved edges
There are 2 faces on a cylinder.

Two flat faces (one at either end of the prism), and a curved side.
It has 2 which are parallel to each other
A cylinder techincally has 3 sides 2 flat side and the curved circle. As for "faces", I would assume they are refering to the 2 flat sides.

A cylinder has two faces. An object is considered to have a face when one of the sides is flat. For example, a cube has 6 face because it has 6 areas on its surface that are flat.
There are 257 topologically different convex octahedra. Many of these will have no parallel faces. It can have four pairs of parallel faces.
It has three shapes. Two surfaces are flat circles and one is a curved rectangle.
There are many such shapes: a prism a cylinder a parallelepiped an octahedron a dodecahedron. Most polyhedra can have a pair of opposite a parallel faces.
