First of all, if you're going to work with the volume of displaced water, it makes

no difference at all how much water you start out with. The object would displace

the same amount from a bucket as it would from Lake Michigan.

But, to deal with the answer to your question: It's not possible to answer your question.

The volume of water displaced is the same as the volume of the metal that

you drop into the bucket. But you've only told us the area of one flat side

of the metal. We have no idea what its volume may be until we also know

its thickness.
