first write the equation in the form of y=mx+b example if the question is 2y=4x-2 write it as y=2x-1

B is the y intercept so place it on the y axis. example on the above equation the y intercept is -1.

and write the slop(m) s form of fraction like 2/1

at last count two up across 1.... continue doing that stop at some point stop and connect the lines. and if it's inequality write it as form of Y= instead of Y<,> then follow the above steps at last if it's grater than shade the upper part if it's less than shade the lower part.

Hope that helps

What does it mean by solving linear systems?

Solving linear systems means to solve linear equations and inequalities. Then to graph it and describing it by statical statements.

Why is it important the linear equations and inequalities?

There are many simple questions in everyday life that can be modelled by linear equations and solved using linear programming.

How are linear inequalities and linear equations the same?

They are not. An inequality cannot, by definition, be the same as an equation.

How can you use coordinate graphs to solve linear equations and linear inequalities?

To solve it by coordinate graphs you would take a point from the line and plug in the X and Y value into the equations and or inequalities.

What types of equations or inequalities describe points x y that lie on a circle?

Linear equations or inequalities describe points x y that lie on a circle.

Why is linear equations called linear equations?

Because its linear and the equation is a problem to solve

What are ways to represent linear equations?

One of the most common ways to represent linear equations is to use constants. You can also represent linear equations by drawing a graph.

How do you solve a linear inequalities?

to solve a linear in equality you have to write it out on a graph if the line or shape is made ou of strate lines its linear

How are linear inequalitys differant from linear equations?

Inequalities have greater than, less than, greater than or equal to, or less than or equal to signs. Equations have an equal sign.

Do linear equations form a line?

Yes, the graph of a linear equation can be a line. There are special cases, sometimes trivial ones like y=y or x=x which are linear equations, but the graph is the entire xy plane. The point being, linear equations most often from a line, but there are cases where they do not.

What are the linear systems?

A "system" of equations is a set or collection of equations that you deal with all together at once. Linear equations (ones that graph as straight lines) are simpler than non-linear equations, and the simplest linear system is one with two equations and two variables.

First Degree Equations and Inequalities in one Variable?

First degree equations ad inequalities in one variable are known as linear equations or linear inequalities. The one variable part means they have only one dimension. For example x=3 is the point 3 on the number line. If we write x>3 then it is all points on the number line greater than but not equal to 3.
