14.20m/s/s or 14.20m/s2 (the 2 is suppose to be the square sign)
Rocks are not the same because, they come from either a Volcano, or they are broken from the Earth's ground. So this causes it to be different shapes and sizes.
Quarrying is a place that has rocks that has been excavated from the ground. This is also known as an open-pit mine.
9.8m/s(5)= 49
The acceleration of gravity is 9.8 m/s2Speed after 3 sec = (9.8 x 3) = 29.4 m/s
Civil engineers need to know how much they have to slope the ground around roadways. If the slope isn't right we end up with debris sliding down embankments into roadways. Falling rocks, anyone?
The velocity is gravity acceleration x time or (9.8)(1.5) = 14.7 m/s. The velocity is not dependent on the mass.
It falls and break
Weathering makes rocks at the top of a cliff suddenly fall.
it depends wich two kind of rocks are u rolling???
The final velocity of a falling object can be worked out by the use of the formula a = (v - u)/t a = acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m.s-2 v = final velocity = unknown u = initial velocity = 0 t = time taken = 3.5s Factor these known values into our equation 9.8 = (v - 0)/3.5 rearrange the formula to workout the unknown value v = 9.8 x 3.5 Final velocity on impact with valley floor = 34.3 m.s-1 with a downwards direction
scree
The rocks of a cliff could be of any rock type.
small rocks put togerther
A cliff retreat is a form of natural erosion. Rocks in the face of the cliff are broken down by wind and water (rain, waves, etc). The material in the cliff is loosened, and parts of the cliff face collapse. Eventually, an entire section of the cliff will fall into the sea, meaning that the cliff edge has retreated. The pace of cliff retreat is determined by the strength of the rocks in the cliff face, more than the cliff's height. It also most often occurs where the base of the cliff is continually being saturated by water, weakening the rock further.
Extrusive igneous rocks are one type of rocks that can be formed above the ground. Sedimentary rocks can also be formed above the ground.
On a cliff. Between some rocks.
I Know some cliff dwellers were in arizona and new mexico. They used the cliff itself and mostly just rocks. I have been to a cliff dwelling in arizona called Montezuma's Castle. They were pretty basic. They used ladders made of wood to get up the cliff to their homes. They definitely used mud and rocks.
