All you need to do is multiply each of the dimensions by two and a half. First, multiply each dimension by two, giving you 18 and 24. So that's:
9 x 2 = 18
12 x 2 = 24
Then you need to find half of each of the original dimensions - half of 9 is 4.5 and half of 12 is 6 - and add each result from this calculation onto its respective result from the previous one, like so:
18 + 4.5 = 22.5
24 + 6 = 30.
It'd be a lot easier to explain this if you were here. But basically, this means that the new room would be 22.5 by 30 feet. Hope that helped!
You need to know the width and height in some other unit, and then apply the appropriate conversion factor. For example, if you know the dimensions in inches, then multiply each one by 2.54 in order to find the same length in centimeters. If you know the dimensions in feet, then multiply each one by 30.48 . If you know the dimensions in millimeters, then divide each one by 10 . . . etc.
You need more dimensions. Square feet cannot convert to meters. One is an area measurement (two dimensions) and the other is linear (one dimension).
If you multiply two measurements, you get only two dimensions - an area. For a volume, you need three dimensions.
None, to work out cubic feet you need three dimensions, 3 feet x 20 feet is 60 square feet, to get to cubic feet you need another dimension.
You haveto convert feet to yards. 8 feet = 2.66666 yards 24 feet = 8 yards There are 21 and a third squared yards in 8ft by 24ft. You can not take cubic measurements when only given two units. You need a third measurement... if 8ft is the length and 24 feet is the width... then you would need the height to figure out cubic yards. you need three dimensions for cubic measurements and two dimensions for squared measurements.
You cannot do this as cubic feet is volume, not length. You need to know distances in three dimensions.
You need to know other dimensions before you can equate length and volume.
You need to know the dimensions and the mass of each piece.
You are missing one measurement. to find cubic dimensions you need length times width times height.
When finding area, you need to know the area formula of the specific object and its associated dimensions. For example, if it's a rectangle, then the dimensions are length and width. So, to find the area you need to be given these dimensions and then use the formula length times the width. Different shapes, such as circles, squares, and trapezoids, will have different area formulas.

You need the dimensions of the bricks.

need to know the width of the tub as well.
lengthght

You need three dimensions; length, width and height. Then multiply them together to get cubic feet.
