Suppose the angle is x then its complement is 90-x

So 4*(90-x) = x

or 360 - 4x = x so that 360 = 5x => x = 72 degrees

What is the measure of the angle whose complement is four ninths its supplement?

The measure of an angle whose complement is four ninths its supplement?æ is 18 degrees. It is calculated as follows: let y be the angle, its complement will be (90-y) degrees and its supplement will be (180-y)?æ degrees and?æ since it complement is?æ 4/9 its supplement; then?æ it is?æ?æ(90-y)= 4/9(180-y).?æ Hence, you will get 18 degrees when you solve the equation.

What is An angle is four times its complement find its measure?

Complementary angles add up to 90 degrees and so 4 times 22.5 degrees = 90 degrees or if you mean 4 times 90 degrees then it is a full turn of 360 degrees

In a triangle the measure of the first angle is 24 degrees more than the measure of the second angle. The measure of the third angle is four times the measure of the second angle. If the total number?

In a triangle the measure of the first angle is four times the measure of the second angle. The measure of the third angle is 18 degrees more than the second angle. What is the measure of the first angle? 68 43 17 95

Four times the measure of the angle is twice that of it's complement?

Answer: 30 degrees ---- Explanation: Let x be the angle. 4x=2(90-x) is the equation that says what you are asking. So we simplify and have 4x=180-2x 6x=180 x=30 Let's check 4x30=120 The complement of 30 is 60, and 2x60=120 so it works!

If an angle is four times its supplement how much does each of them measure?

36 and 144 degrees

What is the measure of an angle that is eighty-four less than two times its complement?

A = 2C - 84; A + C = 90 so 2C - 84 + C = 90 ie 3C = 174 so C = 58, its complement (A) is 32. (2 x 58 = 116, 116 - 32 = 84.) Shazam!.

What is the complement of a thirty-four degree angle?

Two complementary angles will have a sum of 90 degrees. Therefore, the complement of a 90 degree angle would be 90 - 34 = 56 degrees.

How many sides does the regular polygon have if each interior angle measure is four times the measure of each exterior angle measure?

It will have 10 sides and each interior angle measures 144 degrees while each exterior angle measures 36 degrees

What are the measures of a linear pair of angles if the measure of one angle is four times that of the other angle?

x+4x=5x=180 x=36 one angle is 36 other angle is 144

Four sided shape angle measure?

An angle in a four sided shape can have any measure in the interval (0, 360) degrees except 180 degrees.

How do you find an measure of an angle in a rectangle?

A rectangle is a quadrilateral (four sided shape) with four right angles. Therefore, the measure of every angle is 90 deg.

If two angles from a linear pair and the measure of one is four times the other what is the measure of each angle?

The two angles are 36 and 144 degrees.
