The term parallelogram refers to a four sided geometrical figure (in other words, a quadrilateral) in which there are two sets of parallel sides. The angles can vary; they can be right angles, or they can be acute or obtuse angles, as long as there are two sets of parallel sides.

Angles are not said to be vertical to each other. Angles can be perpendicular to each other, but not vertical or horizontal. If angles are perpendicular, then they are right angles, in other words, 90o angles. Lines can be vertical, but angles can't.

How do you find missing angle of a parallelogram?

Being a quadrilateral, the sum of all four angles is 360o.Opposite angles of a parallelogram are equal.Adjacent angles of a parallelogram are supplementary, that is add to 180o.Given one angle of a parallelogram, the other 3 angles can be calculated:the opposite angle is the same;the other two angles are the same as each other and are 180o - the_given_angle

What is the difference between a vertical angle and an opposite angle?

Opposite angles are the angles opposite each other on an x but vertical angles are the angles that are opposite and congruent.

Does a parallelogram have a 90 degree angle?

No , a parallelogram can not have a 90 Degree angle .Reason : A Parallelogram can be defined as a quadrilateral whose two s sides are parallel to each other and all the four angles at the vertices are not 90 degrees or right angles, then the quadrilateral is called a parallelogram.

Is it possible for a parallelogram to have a 54 degree angle and a 126 degree angle explain?

Two consecutive angles of a parallelogram always add up to 180 degrees. So, if the figure actually IS a parallelogram, and if it has a 54-degree angle, then it has two of them, and the other two are 124 degrees each.

What is the difference between an adjacent angle and a vertical angl?

Adjacent angles will be right by each other and equal 180 degrees. Vertical angles will be opposite and equal to each other.

What best describes a parallelogram?

Line segments best describe a parallelogram.

What is the measure of each angle in a parallelogram?

They can vary from 0 to 180 degrees.

Are vertical lines always equal to each other?

No. Vertical lines have the same direction but are not necessarily the same length. Therefore, two vertical lines will have the same angle but possibly not the same magnitiude.

If angle one and angle three are each 35 what is the measurement of angle two?

Are we talking triangle or parallelogram? 110o or 145o respectively

Which quadrilaterals are always similar to each other?

Parallelogram

What does vertical or opposite angle mean?

Vertically opposite angles are the angles that are opposite each other when two lines cross. Vertical means they share the same vertex.

One angle of a parallelogram measures 10 degrees. What are the measures of the other three angles in the parallelogram?

If one angle is 10 degrees, its opposite angle is also 10 degrees. Since consecutive angles are supplementary, each pair of angles has to add up to 180 degrees so the other angles have to be 170 degrees. Therefore this parallelogram has two 10 degree angles and two 170 degree angles.
